Amy Stonestrom

Amy Stonestrom is an award winning writer and designer who has more than two decades of experience writing and editing for journals, magazines, corporate communications and educational programming. She also is the owner of Stonestrom Design, a landscape and interior design firm.
Her essays have appeared in The New York Times, Brevity Magazine, Superstition Review, Storm Cellar Quarterly, Multiplicity and elsewhere.
Amy is the recipient of a 2022 Tucson Festival of Books literary award and was a finalist for the Annie Dillard Award for Creative Nonfiction. She has also received prizes from the National League of American Pen Women and Streetlight Magazine. Her essay Every Bird in the Nest was named as a finalist for the New Millennium Writing award in in 2019.
Amy has an MFA from Bay Path University. She is also a graduate of the Writer's Project Intensive at the Loft Literary Center. She is working on her first manuscript.
